Learning outcomes • Select a mixed-methods design typology based on purpose, epistemology, and integration logic • Develop questions that genuinely necessitate mixed-methods inquiry rather than parallel mono-methods • Execute sequential and concurrent phases with appropriate quality standards for each strand • Apply integration at design, collection, analysis, and interpretation levels with documented rationale • Report per the GRAMMS framework and target-journal requirements • Address paradigmatic tensions through explicit reflexive and pragmatic positioning Assessment & deliverables A complete mixed-methods design proposal with integration rationale and design diagram; a joint-display exercise; a methodological critique of a published mixed-methods study (2,000 words).
